Moving the compass under the HP bar granted some space in the bottom middle, and since the crosshair only spread horizontally item rollover menu could moved to right below the crosshair.

This repository provides user interface source files for Fallout 4 mod authors. These source files are edited by Adobe Flash software to publish swf files used by the game. Though the sources have been reconstructed in certain areas, the files here are intended to represent the vanilla interface as closely as possible, including the vanilla bugs !

Newbie to Fallout 4, but have hundreds of hours in Skyrim (built on the same engine) and many Skyrim mods. One of my favorite Skyrim mods is SkyUI, which is a UI overhaul, particularly useful in the inventory and trade screens. Is there an equivalent for Fallout 4?
