Cause the regular site fees are out of control. Make sure you are always using Advanced Coinbase where you set a limit order since Market orders aren't available for XRP. Regular Coinbase always has outageous fees and they also don't give you the current market price it's always much lower on top of the fees they charge!

It gave me TRC20 address to receive USDT/Tether with. So my Coinbase Wallet can absolutely receive USDT on the TRC20 network. I just need to use the Trust Wallet app with my Coinbase Wallet:
