Fox, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery disbanded their efforts to launch Venu, a joint sports streaming service.

Fox has tapped Peter Distad as CEO of its recently announced direct-to-consumer streaming platform. Distad, who served as an executive at Apple for a decade following six years at Hulu, transitions to Fox from his most recent role as CEO of recently defunct joint venture Venu Sports.
