The Wisconsin man wanted in a triple murder of a woman and two young girls, who has been on the run for more than a week, has been arrested after a statewide manhunt.

Authorities in Wisconsin say they have captured a man who is charged in the killing of a woman and two girls more than a week ago.

The manhunt for the suspect in a triple homicide has been arrested, according to the Juneau County Sheriff's Office. Virgil Thew, 47, was found Thursday and taken into custody in the city of Elroy. The New Lisbon Police Department said the Juneau County Communication Center received a call about a suspicious person in Elroy just before noon.
