Datuk Seri Najib Razak today said current Saudi ruler King Salman had not mentioned anything about his claim to have received donations from the previous Saudi ruler King Abdullah during a 2017 “selfie” moment in Malaysia.

Najib Razak says Saudi foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir had previously confirmed the donations and has never retracted those remarks.

Najib Abdul Razak testified that the half-brother of late Saudi monarch King Abdullah did not deny there was a royal donation to the then Malaysian prime minister. Najib today told the Kuala Lumpur High Court that King Salman did not raise the issue when the latter paid an official visit to Malaysia in 2017.
