Philadelphia Phillies reliever Tanner Banks shared a clubhouse with Chicago White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. as Chicago teammates for parts of three seasons.

Veteran Leonard Floyd and rookie first-round picks Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr. are already making an impact for the Falcons, who had their first practice of training camp in pads on Tuesday. Pearce has made a quick impression with his aggressive style.

"And it's probably a perfect time to put on pads right now for us." First-round pick James Pearce Jr. was among a handful of players to get into a heated exchange, but the rookie bounced back to make plays later in Sunday's practice.
