Hundreds gathered Friday (Aug. 1) to name a San Francisco street after Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia on what would have been his 83rd birthday.

More than 50,000 Deadheads turned out to see Night 1 of the Grateful Dead 60th anniversary celebration at Golden Gate Park.
