MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin finished its second season under Luke Fickell at 5-7, marking the program’s first losing record and failure to qualify for a bowl game in 23 years. The results have created more questions than answers about how Fickell moves forward.

Quarterback Braedyn Locke was among the players who voiced their support of UW coach Luke Fickell after a season-ending loss to Minnesota Saturday.

While some coaches praised Fickell's recruiting efforts when he first arrived, one coach said they felt like a "complete afterthought."
