As a fan of the England Women’s Cricket team and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club it has been a long few weeks. Generally I believe in giving yourself time off from sport that hurts you but Spurs have been impossible to look away from this season.

Tottenham fell to defeat against Everton on Sunday, and are now closer to relegation than the top half of the table. The prospect of first team-ready reinforcements in the January transfer window to take the strain from the remaining players has been scarce, with only Antonin Kinsky giving some immediate relief.
