As the Seattle Seahawks continue their search for their new offensive coordinator, the coaching carousel is spinning faster and faster. On Monday afternoon, the Chicago Bears officially hired former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as their new head coach.

Johnson has been credited with helping revive quarterback Jared Goff's career. Goff threw for 96 touchdowns in the three seasons Johnson was in charge of Detroit’s offense.

The 38-year-old Johnson spent three seasons as Detroit’s offensive coordinator under Dan Campbell and will replace Matt Eberflus, who was fired by the Bears on Nov. 29.
