Adan Manzano, the Super Bowl journalist found dead just days before the game, had a non-prescribed depressant in his system, police said.

A police detective has testified in court that the TV reporter who died while covering Super Bowl week in New Orleans had a sedative drug in his system

A detective testified that the preliminary toxicology report for Adan Manzano, 27, showed he had the prescription anti-anxiety drug in his system at the time of his death despite not having a prescription.
