After an impressive start to Enzo Maresca’s tenure, the Blues have suffered a dip in form as they've failed to win any of their last five top-flight matches which has seen them slip out of title contention.

By William Schomberg LONDON (Reuters) -Chelsea won for the first time in six Premier League matches when they beat relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at home on Monday with goals from defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Cucurella and a third from winger Noni Madueke.

Noni Madueke had already been under Maresca's microscope in December when he said the English winger "can do much more". The 22-year-old was brilliant against Wolves. He started really brightly and although he lacked end product in the first half his perseverance was rewarded in the second.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Cucurella scored and Trevoh Chalobah set up another as Stamford Bridge saw a 3-1 win from their Chelsea over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea ended their winless run in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
