Updating maps of Southern California show where wildfires, including the Palisades and Eaton fires, are burning across Los Angeles.

The Palisades fire has advanced to within streets of Arnold Schwarzenegger's mansion in Brentwood, threatening the former California governor's residence and surrounding properties, according to CAL FIRE's latest update.

Gov. Gavin Newsom called for an independent investigation into the loss of water pressure to local fire hydrants and the reported unavailability of water supplies from the Santa Ynez Reservoir.
