Live from Los Angeles — it's the 2025 Oscars! Awards season is officially wrapping up, and Hollywood's biggest names are gathering together one more time to celebrate the best from this season's collection of films.

For reality TV and late-night fans, you may have recognized the host, Conan O'Brien. Conan joins the ranks of many late-night hosts who have taken on entertainment's biggest night. So how much was he paid to host the 2025 Oscars?

Sykes, who co-hosted the 2022 Oscars with Amy Schumer and Regina Hall, shared that she didn’t know how much she was being paid but assumed it was at least the "scale" rate, a minimum set by the SAG-AFTRA union.

Jimmy revealed that he got paid $15,000. Which sounds like a lot of money for one night's work, but again, it's more than a night. In fact, Jimmy recently revealed he turned down hosting the 2025 Oscars because of how much work goes into it.

TV funnyman Conan O'Brien took the stage as host of the 97th annual Academy Awards on Sunday night as the 2025 Oscar nominees competed for top honors . O'Brien inherited hosting duties from fellow comedian and late-night star Jimmy Kimmel, who presided over the Oscars four times before.

As an Oscars host, O’Brien follows Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted in both 2023 and 2024 – as well as in 2018 and 2017 – Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, who co-hosted together in 2022, two years in a row (2020 and 2021) when the ceremony had no host, and Chris Rock, who hosted in 2016.
