Hunter Dickinson was determined to make sure his Kansas Jayhawks walked out of CU Events Center with a victory Monday.

LAWRENCE, Ks. — Hunter Dickinson matched a career high with 33 points to lead Kansas past No. 24 Arizona 83-76 on Saturday. Zeke Mayo drilled five three-pointers and had 20 points while KJ Adams Jr. scored 12, including three dunks while the Jayhawks (20-11, 11-9 Big 12) built a 14-point first-half lead.

Hunter Dickinson put on a show Monday night for Kansas Basketball, and Bill Self didn’t hesitate to give him his flowers after the game. “I thought he was the best player in the game, obviously,” Self said. “We got killed on the glass, and if it wasn’t for Hunter, it would’ve been worse.”

Hunter Dickinson scored 33 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, and Kansas held on for an 83-76 win over No. 24 Arizona in a Big 12 Conference showdown on Saturday afternoon in Lawrence, Kan.

Kansas led 26-20 with eight minutes left in the first half, but the offense cooled off, allowing Colorado to hang around. Dickinson was the one keeping things steady, dominating inside and helping the Jayhawks rebuild a double-digit lead with just over five minutes to play.
