A 26-year-old woman was found dead at the scene of the crash between a train and a vehicle in Security-Widefield on Monday, Jan. 20, according to the Colorado State

One person is dead after a car ran into a train in Security-Widefield Monday afternoon. Officers responded Monday at 3:29 p.m. to Main Street Crossing located at the Highway 85 and Main Street interchange to find a deceased 26 year-old female from Colorado Springs ejected from a Mitsubishi Outlander.

The train did not stop, and Patrol said they were unsure if the train conductor was aware the train hit a car. The exact details of the crash were still being investigated.
