An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing and endangered fifteen-year-old girl on Wednesday. The N.C. Center for Missing Persons said that Harnett County deputies are conducting a search for Azalea Strifler.

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing teen girl, officials confirmed Wednesday. Police described Azalea Strifler as 5 feet 4 inches tall and said she weighs about 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, police said.

“AMBER Alerts are activated in the most serious child-abduction cases,” according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “The goal of an AMBER Alert is to instantly galvanize the community to assist in the search for and safe recovery of a missing child.”
