Air Force fighter jets intercepted a civilian aircraft flying in the temporarily restricted airspace near President Donald Trump's Florida home Sunday, bringing the number of violations to more than 20 since the president took office on Jan. 20.

NORAD scrambled jets Saturday to intercept three civilian planes that violated temporary flight restrictions near President Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.

The violations occurred Saturday morning and afternoon. The aircraft in question were escorted from the area safely.

Since January 20, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has responded to 20 "tracks of interest" entering the Palm Beach area during flight restrictions. NORAD responded to a general aviation aircraft that was flying over Palm Beach Saturday morning violating a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR).

The civilian aircraft violated the Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) at approximately 1:15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The aircraft was safely escorted out of the area by NORAD aircraft.

NORAD deployed fighter jets over Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort on Saturday to divert yet another civilian pilot flying through restricted airspace.
