A professional treasure hunter has been charged in the theft of the 37 gold coins stolen from the wreckage of the 1715 Treasure Fleet.

Several stolen gold coins from the 1715 Treasure Fleet were recovered by authorities, according to a press release published on Tuesday. Florida officials said 37 were seized.

Investigators will continue searching for the remaining 13 gold coins missing from what the agency said was a “treasure trove” of 101 coins found in 2015.
