German national team sporting director Rudi Völler says Antonio Rüdiger needs to show “class” and respect for others after he appeared to throw ice toward the referee during Real Madrid’s Copa del Rey loss to Barcelona.

Antonio Rüdiger has apologised for his sending off in Real Madrid's 3-2 Copa del Rey final defeat to Barcelona on Saturday, after he threw an object onto the pitch, and teammates had to stop him from confronting the referee.

The Real Madrid defender issued an apology for his aggressive behavior. He had to be restrained after throwing an object at the ref.
