Flock Safety and one of its long-time VCs, Bedrock Capital, announced that the startup raised a fresh $275 million at a $7.5 billion valuation.

The surveillance technology startup Flock Safety Inc. said today it has closed on a $275 million funding round that brings its value to a cool $7.5 billion, up from a prior valuation of $4.8 billion.

Venture firm Andreessen Horowitz is set to lead a funding round for the startup Flock Safety, a prominent maker of license plate-reading cameras, valuing the company at about $7.5 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
