NBA players, like Stephen Curry, don't usually get to spend a lot of time at home, or at least as much as they would like to.

SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole have challenged each other since the Golden State Warriors drafted Poole 28th overall in 2019. They would see who could make more shots in a row in practice and go at it in scrimmages, friendly competition that helped bring out the best in each other.

A teammate of Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors revealed what happened with Jordan Poole during the game against the Washington Wizards, reuniting with his former teammates. Golden State Warriors secured an important win against the Washington Wizards,

Jordan Poole has plopped down on the floor of an animal shelter. He’s sitting crisscross applesauce and playing with kittens. He takes one of those colorful cat charmers from Cindy the volunteer and twirls it in front of Cheeto the dancing cat. Dander sticks out on his all-black attire, and Poole doesn’t care.

And recently, Tristan Vukcevic, his Washington Wizards teammate, adopted a cat at PetSmart. When Dawn Wallace, the executive director of Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation, tells Poole that she heard he inspired Vukcevic to become a cat guy, a Wizards staffer leans over and whispers to me, “More like made him.” -via Washington Post / January 29, 2025
