Chelsea ended their winless run in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Chelsea scored twice in the second half to beat Wolves and end a run of five Premier League games without a win. Enzo Maresca ’s side began the night in sixth place, but victory at Stamford Bridge takes them back up to fourth - above Manchester City whom they meet at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday evening.

The Blues will be searching for their first win in six Premier League matches, after drawing 2–2 at home against Bournemouth last Tuesday.

Chelsea ended a run of three straight league defeats against Wolves by winning this season's reverse fixture 6-2 at Molineux in August. After a 4-2 victory at Stamford Bridge last season, Wolves are aiming to secure back-to-back league wins at Chelsea for the first time since February 1964.

By William Schomberg LONDON (Reuters) -Chelsea won for the first time in six Premier League matches when they beat relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at home on Monday with goals from defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Cucurella and a third from winger Noni Madueke.

Going into this game Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca explained that he wanted more output from his wingers to take some of the pressure and expectation off Cole Palmer and Nicholas Jackson. Noni Madueke had already been under Maresca's microscope in December when he said the English winger "can do much more".
