A judge has described the "stain" on a doctor's character as he was sentenced for taking intimate images of patients and colleagues at a major NSW hospital.

A former junior doctor is already eligible for parole after he was jailed for taking images of a child's genitalia while the young patient was in his care at a regional NSW hospital.
