Bryce Mitchell trolls Said Nurmagomedov after UFC Abu Dhabi win, mocking him with Islam Makhachev’s viral “2-3 years” catchphrase.

Mohammad Yahya faced off against Steven Nguyen on the prelims of UFC Abu Dhabi, suffering a gnarly eye injury that is one of the worst you will ever ser.

In his first post to Instagram after his victory, Mitchell shared a video to his story in which he re-worded Islam Makhachev’s most notorious catchphrase. The pound-for-pound great famously told Daniel Cormier to send his son to Russia on his own, saying “Send him 2-3 years Dagestan and forget.”

Following UFC Abu Dhabi last night (Sat., July 26, 2025), inside Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates, sources confirmed to MMAmania.com that three fighters were transported to the local hospital for precautionary reasons following their fights.

Shara Magomedov returned to the UFC on Sunday in Abu Dhabi. He fought Marc-Andre Barriault and won, but it was a very hard fight. During the match, Shara got hit badly and broke his nose. His face was full of blood, but he kept fighting.
