Live” alums Chris Rock and Martin Short will both return to their old Studio 8H stomping grounds later this month for the final two "SNL" episodes of 2024. For Rock, who will host on Dec. 14, this reps his fourth time in that role.

Short has previously hosted “SNL” five times, three as an individual. In 2022, he co-hosted an episode with his “Only Murders in the Building” co-star Steve Martin, and in 1986, he hosted alongside Martin and Chevy Chase.

Saturday Night Live is starting to bring back former cast members to host the show this season. Chris Rock and Martin Short are among the hosts as the NBC show closes out the year, leading into its big Season 50 extravaganza in the new year.
