Marvel Rivals has been a smash-hit, holding on to its player base better than other games in its genre. That said, while many players are hopeful of a PvE mode, NetEase Games has no plans to implement one.

Following rumors about the team’s supposed plans, a Marvel Rivals developer has addressed whether or not NetEase is working on a PvE mode. In January 2025, two Marvel Rivals leakers claimed NetEase had at some point started work on a PvE experience for the hero shooter.
