Firefighters are still working to contain the Palisades Fire as weather conditions improve this week and search efforts continue in the wildfire which has killed at least 10 people and burned over 23,

Tuesday, 2:10 p.m. PST Cal Fire says the Auto Fire, which broke out Monday in Ventura County, is 25% contained several hours after fire crews stopped forward progress on the 56-acre blaze.

Palisades Fire initially started 10:30 a.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 23,713 acres after being active for nine days. A crew of 4,471 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 27% of the fire by Thursday evening. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.

The deadly Palisades Fire was 27% contained Friday as a much-feared Santa Ana wind event wound down without dramatically impacting the firefight, and residents were allowed to return home in select neighborhoods that had been evacuated due to the blaze.
