New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat who has been critical of Joe Biden's administration's handling of the border crisis, plans to meet Donald Trump's new border czar, Tom Homan, to hear out his ideas about the deportation of illegal migrants.

Eric Adams announced that he requested a meeting with incoming border czar Tom Homan to expedite the deportation of migrants who’ve been charged with crimes, bypassing the need to wait for convictions.

Adams has expressed a desire to have violent migrants deported and said he has no problem with being “canceled” if he meets with Homan.
