Mountain West adds UC Davis in further expansion
The Mountain West Conference furthered its expansion plans on Tuesday with the announcement that UC Davis accepted an invitation to join the league beginning July 1, 2026. UC Davis will compete in 16 sports within the Mountain West, essentially all conference-sponsored sports with the exceptions being football and wrestling.
