5-Star Safety Davon Benjamin Jr. Commits to Oregon Over Michigan, Texas
Benjamin is a 5-star prospect listed as the No. 4 safety and No. 35 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class, per 247Sports' Composite rankings. He chose Oregon over Michigan and Texas. Benjamin also received offers from schools such as BYU, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington.
