The Marine Science Institute is a non-profit organization founded in 1970 with the purpose of looking after the San Francisco Bay. Located in Redwood City, California, MSI provides engaging and interactive hands-on adventures with San Francisco Bay Area marine life. MSI is a place where students from all backgrounds can explore their interests in science and the natural world outside of the traditional classroom. From voyages on the 90-foot R/V “Robert G. Brownlee,” to school visits by MSI’s traveling aquarium, to marine camps and family canoe trips through Peninsula wetlands, MSI offers a wealth of ways to experience the marine environment.
